“Arthur Arbesser for Silhouette” Special Edition at Milan Fashion Week SS2017
Bold colours and classic design idiom – Arthur Arbesser, one of the most promising young fashion designers of his generation, presented his Spring/Summer 2017 collection at Milan Fashion Week.
The exclusive setting for the show was provided by the Cavallerizze hall of the Leonardo da Vinci National Museum of Science & Technology. Once the 19th-century Habsburg stables and now part of the museum complex, they provided the perfect backdrop for the timeless design idiom of the collection and for the ‘Arthur Arbesser for Silhouette‘ sunglasses.
Arbesser’s Fashion Week debut took place in Milan in February 2013. He overwhelmingly chose strong, creative women such as gallery owners, journalists and architects to show off his clothes. He lays particular emphasis on a sleek design language, unusual materials, bold colours and the very highest quality.
When designing his ‘Arthur Arbesser for Silhouette’ Special Edition sunglasses, Arbesser’s very special gift for colour combinations and contrasts was in evidence during his intensive work with Silhouette. In his sunglasses, with their strong design idiom, two lenses of different colours are nested into each other and seamlessly connected. The Collection is available from January 2017 in four colours: Glossy Caramel, Glossy Purple, Dark Green Gradient, and Classic Grey Gradient.
Silhouette is extremely proud of this third successful design collaboration with Arthur based on the iconic Titan Minimal Art glasses. The spectacular and inspiring show went down a storm with the top-class front row.
