Minimalist Monday

It’s getting Juicy! Strawberry kissing rhubarb – the classic is refreshing and seductive in a new smoothie version. Ingredients for one portion

  • 250 g rhubarb
  • 120 ml water
  • 350 g fresh strawberries
  • Half a vanilla pod
  • 300 ml buttermilk
  • Some honey to taste

How it’s done: Peel the rhubarb, cut into 1 cm pieces, hollow out the vanilla pod and cook both with the water in a pot for about 4 minutes until soft. Remove the vanilla pod and stir in the washed strawberries. Let the compote cool, purée and mix it with the buttermilk, then refine with honey.
